Arm yourself with specific knowledge, accountability, and leverage.
*Specific Knowledge: knowledge you cannot be trained for. (unique).
Found by pursuing your curiosity and passion. Feels like play.
Highly technical/creative; cannot be outsourced or automated.
If you can’t code, write books and blogs, record videos and podcasts.
You should be too busy to “do coffee” while keeping an uncluttered calendar.
Create environments you can thrive. 90% of effort is wasted.
Become the best in the world at what you do. Keep redefining what you do until this is true.
Most of life is a search for who and what needs you the most.
Escape competition through authenticity -> be your unique self.
Honesty -> being true to yourself.
The best jobs are neither decreed or degreed. They are creative expressions of continuous learners in the free markets.
Create a product with no marginal cost to replicate.
Optimize for independence, not pay. Be accountable for output, not input.
Train and sprint, then rest and reassess. Inspiration has a shelf life, it is perishable.
Put a very high value on your time.
Empty space is critical to give you time to think -> great ideas.
Happiness -> a skill you develop
