Matthew has a passion for teaching and learning. He teaches Strategic Asset Management in the Master of Real Estate program at the University of San Diego. He is also the Chief Operating Officer at Westcore, an owner and operator of industrial properties across the United States.
At Westcore, Matthew focuses on operations, strategy, culture, and internal education (Westcore University). He has direct oversight of asset management, construction, property management and insurance. He also works closely with the leasing and transactions teams. He started at Westcore in 2004 as Associate Acquisitions Manager and grew with the company to become the COO. In 2008, he created Westcore University to better expose all team members to the inner workings of Westcore.
He received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
